Beginning the Journey of Blogging

Honestly, I'm just happy to have built the back-end for this blog

Well, now that I've used MongoDB and NodeJS to build the back-end of my blog, I suppose that I need to start adding content to this blog. For now, I'm mostly content that mLab provides a free sandbox database for me to use -even if that's only half a gig of data- and that Heroku also hosts this Node app for free as well. In fact, all of this did not cost me a dime because GitHub's Student Developer Pack also gave me the free .me domain from Namecheap.

So, if you're a college student right now, you can build up your entire personal website, including a back-end, for free, as long as your content with that website not being able to support heavy loads (if you're worried about that kind of thing, you'll almost certainly know who you are anyway.) Sadly, while you can build up your own wicked website all for free, you can't have someone write a righteous blog for you for free as well, so you're forced to do that yourself. The dreary realization that I have to come up with all of these words is rather mind-numbing, so I'll be happy to call this simple post quits for now.
